About Lima First Assembly of God

Welcome to the Mission Statement page of Lima First Assembly of God. We are a vibrant community of believers located in Lima, Ohio. Established in 1921, our church has been faithfully serving the local community and beyond for nearly a century. As a community-centric organization, we strongly believe in nurturing faith, promoting spiritual growth, and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals, families, and the community we are a part of.

Our Mission

At Lima First Assembly of God, our mission is to share the love of Christ and the message of the Gospel with people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. Our purpose is to reach out, connect, and transform lives through the power of God's grace and truth. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where individuals can experience God's presence, find hope, and develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Him.

Our Beliefs

As a part of the global Assemblies of God fellowship, we adhere to the core beliefs and values of the Pentecostal tradition. We believe in the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His atoning sacrifice for humanity's sins, and His resurrection. Moreover, we believe in the empowering and indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who equips and enables believers for righteous living and ministries.

Our Community Impact

Being an integral part of the Lima community, we are actively involved in various outreach programs that seek to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us. Our goal is to be a catalyst for positive change, fostering unity, and providing support to individuals and families in challenging circumstances. Through initiatives such as community service projects, food drives, youth mentorship programs, and more, we strive to exemplify the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
